    Augustana Campus

    LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCE

Augustana is a welcoming campus with an exclusive focus on undergraduate education, multidisciplinary program majors, a non-traditional academic calendar, and experiential learning opportunities embedded in the project-based core.

It leads the way in designing a truly immersive and holistic university experience.

THE TOP 5 ADVANTAGE AT AUGUSTANA

    1. Class sizes are small and ensure individual attention.
    2. About half of Augustana's 950 students live on campus.
    3. Our strong community focus means you can get involved — from clubs to choirs to student government and athletics.
    4. Our 'all you care to eat' dining hall prides itself on preparing meals made from local food.
    5. The campus is close to Camrose's lively downtown core and an extensive trail system for walking, running, bicycling, and cross-country skiing.

    CAMROSE

Augustana's spacious campus is located at the heart of Alberta in the City of Camrose — a safe and friendly university city.

Its 19,000 residents enjoy a community rich with events, a lively downtown core filled with unique shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and much more!

    LIVING ON CAMPUS

Most first-year students live on campus, where they enjoy convenient access to their classes, professors, and on-campus activities.

Augustana housing provides dorm-style accommodations, a diverse and engaging environment, and a full meal plan with a variety of food options.

Some of the unique experiences here at Augustana is for example, even residents coming from a second year transfer students from campus St. Jean, I did not have quite a lot of friends. But being in residence, having a roommate, having some friends to hang around after class, really immersed me within the community here in Camerose.

The non traditional academic calendar has really impacted my learning experience because what you're essentially doing is taking one course for three weeks, and then the rest of your courses in 11 weeks. So as you're taking one course, you're also alleviating your course load in the rest of the semester. It's a win win situation because not only are you kind of improving the quality of your work and all your courses and therefore like getting really good marks, but you're also kind of mentally preparing yourself for the 11 week, where your course load is more rigorous.

Campus is gorgeous. We have amazing windows which make it a great space to study. Our library has awesome tables, where you can choose to sit with our peers or sit alone. We've also have amazing Forum.

I really liked the Forum building. During my time in undergraduate I spend most of my time here, whether it's for studying, whether it's through hanging out with friends, getting a coffee, and I really like it's communal sentiment, that the building in itself gives out.
